I'm often asked where I'm hiding all of my stuff in my classroom! The truth is: When I implemented Flexible Seating in my classroom I had to make some major changes on my end as well! I'm here to share the 'cleansing process' that I went through in order to create an organized space with LESS stuff!

Get your digital life in order PRONTO! Start with broad categories like the ones above (actual file folders on my computer). Keep narrowing it down as you go. Everything has a folder. Everything has a place. This is going to take a while, so buckle down and grab a cup of coffee!

Say goodbye to your collections of paper copies! If you.....

  • Have a digital file for the paper copy.....RECYCLE IT!
  • Can make a digital file for the paper copy.....SCAN IT & THEN RECYCLE IT!
  • Use it ALL the time (behavior chart, center template,etc)....KEEP one copy on hand to make quick copies.

I keep maybe 20 papers on hand for direct copies. Once all of that paper is out of your room & out of your life you will feel SO much better!

Find what works best for you! Look at storage you already have. Do you have pieces you don't need? Hover & click on the pictures below to find out how I use different types of storage in my classroom!
